Mons La Trivalle can be translated as the Mountains of Three Valleys ans indeed it exists of three valleys. The first is the impressive Gorges d'Heric with spectacular waterfalls. Secondly there is the river Orb debouch into the Meditarran SeaThirtly we have the river Jaur. The community consists of the two villages of La Trivalle and Mons. You stay in la Trivalle, and Mons is situated higher up on the mountainside about a fifteen minute walk away. There are no shops in Mons. Nevertheless, with its picturesque streets and beautiful views, the walk to Mons is well worth making. |

| In La Trivalle
you'll find a backery, butcher, grocery for your daily shoppings. There
is also a cafe-restaurant and a pizza-restaurant. A small shop sells products
from the region, like honey and baskets made from reed. There is a postoffice and a bank, but the bank is only open at wednesday. The 'Office du Tourisme' will provide you with all the information you need. |

In Mons you will not find any shops, but it has picturesque streets and wide views, worth going there. From the village you can walk to the Gorges d'Heric in about 10 minutes.
